Q&A

Briefly describe your job and your area of expertise. Duties include husbandry, training, public presentations. Rainforest birds, raptors, penguins.

What got you interested in becoming a biologist? Have always been interested in hands on work with exotics.

What do you like most and least about your job? Like educating the public, dislike dealing with exhibit maintenance.

What college did you go to and what degree did you receive? Bachelor of Arts San Francisco State University 1988-Drama and a Bachelor of Arts Sonoma State University 2006- Zoology.

Do you have pets at home? What and how many? Pets at home include 1 dog, 1 cat.

Advice for someone wanting to go into your field. Start volunteering as soon as possible.
