Who Pooped?
The dropping of this animal comes out together in three separate parts: a whitish-gray part, a dark brown part, and a ball of indigestible matter such as hair, feathers or fur. You can see the animal that made this scat here at the Academy of Sciences.

Some kind of scavenger. I think it is a turkey vulture.

Wow slow week! (Thanks for the comment though Mom)
This is in fact the scat of Python reticulatus, the reticulated python, and more precisely a 15 foot albino reticulated python named Lemondrop who’s living right between our rain forest and our cafe. Did you know reticulated pythons are some of the longest snakes in the world?
We’ve got all kinds of snakes (and lizards too) at the Academy right now, but not for very much longer…
This coming Labor Day weekend is your last chance to see our Snakes & Lizards exhibit.
