Writer David Grann became fascinated by the story of the British explorer Percy Harrison Fawcett who went on a search to find the city of Z, an ancient civilization that might not have existed. Fawcett never returned. Grann undertakes his own mission to learn more about Fawcett’s “deadly obsession” and Z. Join us for what proves to be a lively discussion.
Participants are encouraged to read the book before coming.

I am so upset that I missed the May 11th, David Grann, Lost City of Z seminar. I am reading this book right now…incredible. Is his talk recorded somewhere? Do you know if he will coming back?

Hi, Marlene,
This was actually a meeting of our book discussion group, Bookworms. We meet once a month to discuss various science-related books. It was not a talk given by David Grann, and he was not present at the meeting.
