The holidays may be over, but the winter wonder continues at the Academy—enjoy indoor snow flurries, an igloo theater, and Arctic decor through February 27, 2011. In addition, join us for the following wintry programs:

Daily in the Piazza
Step into the igloo presentation dome for a glimpse of the stark, vast beauty of the North Pole.

Think you know a thing or two about polar bears, emperor penguins, and the northern lights? Challenge yourself in this interactive game show.
- Live Snake Program
Daily at 1:00 pm in the Piazza
Meet slithering, “cold-blooded” snakes and learn about their amazing attributes.
- Family Nature Crafts
Sundays at 11:00 am
Get creative with winter- and nature-themed craft projects designed for families with children ages 4 to 8.
