Gee Max, you are a scientist? Darwinian heresy? Really? What type of scientist are you? What have you studied? Sorry that you're lost in the mumbo jumbo; perhaps a bit more effort on your part would clear things up for you. I don't ask for your trust; that is of no importance to the problem at hand. And no, you did not get it straight. If you'd like to understand ocean circulation in general, and the PDO's effects on climate more specifically, then do a bit of work and critical thinking. There's no substitute for those. Finally, do not confuse exasperation and irritation for hubris and arrogance. Trust me here: your mistaken concern for your pockets is your problem, and yours only. Global warming is a bit more important. Soundbites indeed.

"Nonsensical soundbites of dwellers on the fringe" you say. That's just what the Southern Baptists say about those who cleave to the heresies of Darwin. I am a scientist and attorney, but I'm lost in the mumbo jumbo. So let me get this straight. We now have global cooling (just like the the 70s) because the oceans are just sloshing around and sometimes the cold water is on top and sometimes it's not. Sorry, but the Wizard of Oz was more credible. In any case, the arrogance and hubris in your comment is palpable, and it is why I don't trust you or any of your co-religionists and associated opportunists in Washington who are beavering to pick my pockets.

"The media really should speak with the scientists doing the research, rather than sensationalizing and immediately seeking the nonsensical sound bytes of dwellers on the fringe." LOL! How true! I totally agree. I can only hope that they heed your advice. What a crazy circus of conjecture our poor public is barraged with every hour. Thanks for speaking out. Right On!
