The Google Science Fair is an online science competition for students age 13-18 from around the world! In the coming weeks, encourage your students to explore using the tips and resources below. The submission deadline for 2015 is May 19th!

 

Encourage curiosity with these tips from Google Science Fair

1. Get those creative juices flowing. E​ncourage your students to spend time with the I​dea Springboard​ to turn their passions and interests into experiments.

2. Tune into inspiring live science. C​heck out our Y​ouTube channel​ to see past finalists and scientists exploring topics like r​obots​ and C​rittercams!​

3. Teach a lesson that includes the Science Fair. U​se one of our l​esson plans or worksheets​ in your curriculum to help inspire your students explore their passion for science.

4. Hang up science swag. P​rint these n​ifty posters​ t​o put up in your classroom and around your school.

5. Get recognized.​ When students submit their projects, they'll have the option to nominate an inspiring educator who encouraged them to try. One lucky teacher will win the Inspiring Educator Award with $15,000 in prizes. That could be you!
