Nice!

Another interesting reference, Christina, for more neighbor detail but a slightly earlier date is the book Victorian San Francisco: The 1895 Illustrated Directory which has drawings of all the street frontages along the major business streets.

I see from page 52 that the building also contained
- Mayo A. Greenlaw, D.D.S. Doctor of Dental Surgery
- J.H.A. Folkers & Bro. Importers Surgical Instruments and Dental Goods, Mfrs Trusses and Apparatus for Deformities
and
- B.B. Brewer. Rooms 4-5. Dentist.

Curiously, the offices of the Illustrated Directory itself were just next door at 809 Market.

If you have any problem finding a copy of this book, just ping me on email or Twitter (@metagrrrl) and I'll bring it by the Academy sometime for you to borrow. Can we do a negative checkout on my Naturalist Center library card? ;)

Thanks for the comment and question, Matt. The 3:34 stop time is for the 60 Minutes version linked above. The Academy fully appears in the Prelinger Archives version at around the 2:53 minute mark. You can view that version here:

Christina, Very nice piece of detective work. I might e-mail you with a follow-up. Quick question here, is the 3:34 stop time in the restored video from Prelinger, or in the 60 Minutes Overtime version linked above? I think those would be slightly different at 3:34. Thanks.
