I am pleased to see this study on the Corvus ! Little Crow story for you- i live here by Ocean beach and years ago one day while standing at the wall watching the sun set, a crow flew down besides me and just watched with me. I said hello to the crow, took its picture said goodbye and headed home. That crow went back and forthe from lightly flying over me and hopped along beside me all 10 blocks home. I went inside my house meanwhile the crow sat on my fire escape. Everyday for about 4 months this same crow did the same routine, followed me from my house to the beach, back and forthe sitting on my fire escape while I was inside. I always talked to him ( or her?) as it sat next to me at the wall, people used to ask me how I trained my bird- ! My crow had very distinguishing marks, scars and a huge patch of white on it's head so I always knew it was him!
