San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra

Come join us for an elegant performance by the San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra, a plucked string orchestra featuring instruments from the mandolin family, as well as guitar, viola da gamba, and double bass.

The San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra, conducted by Achille Bocus, will present:

It is a classical Symphony, so well made that in the past it was attributed to Joseph Hayden, and then to Leopold Mozart. Scholars still dispute who is the true author of the Symphony, and it has recently been attributed to the monk Edmund Angerer. The fact that the author of this little gem will never be known will not keep us from enjoying the grace and the humor of this wonderful music.
