I wish you would put some of your minerals out on display again. That was my favorite part of the old museum. My second favorite was the snakes and reptiles, and you don’t have many/any of those anymore too.

Much of the new museum is like a big 3-dimensional Discovery magazine. I enjoy reading Discovery and National Geographic, but want to see the real thing at the museum. I love the reef exhibit.

I highly applaud the California Academy of Sciences for your excellent web site and the methods used to encourage new learning and appreciation for our nations history and the wonders of nature. Having the opportunity to see a rock from the moon and the many excellent exhibits is well forth the membership fee and the chance to see my fellow Americans enjoy all that this nation pursues in education and advancing knowledge. I am currently reading “The Way of the Explorer” by Edgar Mitchell, so the moon was a good guess for me. Looking forward to seeing the moon rocks next visit. Love the Morrison Planetarium!
