MEDIA ADVISORY WHAT: A colorful mobile learning center for kids will be visiting the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park as part of a National tour to encourage kid volunteerism. The Big Helpmobile, a brightly colored 34-foot Airstream trailer, is a traveling learning lab with interactive kiosks and a hand-painted mural depicting more than 75 different kinds of marine animals for kids to explore. It is visiting the Academy as part of the Big Help a national promotion encouraging volunteerism and conservation among kids throughout the country. This year, the Big Help is all about kids making a difference by helping conserve water. The California Academy of Sciences is one of 50 sites across the country chosen for a visit by the Big Helpmobile.
