I was wondering if you had an opportunity to see Werner Herzog’s capitvating “Encounters at the End of the World” – if not I’m sure you’ll find it on DVD at McMurdo. I especially would like to read your experience undergoing survival training that Herzog depecits. Apparently it’s what all visitors that wish to leave the confines of the base must undergo.
