“The entire book can usually be accessed online page by page at the State Library of New South Wales site:

However they’re redesigning the site and only the first few pages of Aurora Australis are shown at the moment. Hopefully it will all be back online soon.”

In complete agreement with Nan. I, too, was memorized for over 2 hours, even going to the museum site in South Wales. If only other parts of history were so well preserved as this one.

Once again, one little click to read about something that caught my attention and I am hooked for an hour! Thanks for educating me about something I had no idea existed in Antarctica. This was truly a step back into the past. The images of socks still on the line and newspapers lying where they were last read so many years ago was fascinating!
