Academy of Sciences Presents Annual Halloween Party
Get Batty at the Swamp Romp - It's Halloween!
October 26th Event Benefits Academy's Education and Research Programs

SAN FRANCISCO (October 10, 2001) - The California Academy of Sciences holds its 10th annual Halloween party, the Swamp Romp, on Friday, October 26th, 2001 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Children, parents and grandparents are invited to eat, drink, and be merry while enjoying live jazz by The Certificates and Benny and BeBe's Magic Circus. Other activities include storytelling, a photo-sticker booth and costumed characters.

During the party, guests are invited to view the Academy's public exhibits, including Steinhart Aquarium, Morrison Planetarium and African Hall.

The Chair of the party host committee is Ann Kauffman. Dan McCall will provide catering services.

Children are admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult. Adult tickets cost $95, of which $75 dollars is tax-deductible as allowed by law. All proceeds benefit the Academy's education and research programs. For more information call (415) 750-7216.
