Tonight's NightLife LIVE event, presented by Outside Lands Music Festival, is now SOLD OUT

 

PLEASE NOTE:

The Alvvays performance is canceled due to international travel issues with the band. But don't fret! WATERS will now be headlining for NightLife LIVE this Thursday!

Outside Lands weekend passes do not qualify for admission to NightLife. NightLife tickets must be purchased separately. 21+ event, ID’s required for entry. Capacity is limited in the garden where bands will be playing, we highly suggest arriving early. Admission to garden performances will be  available to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.

Science Side Show & Interactive Art
(West Garden)

6:00-10:00 pm, Take a second to contribute to something BIG with a “Wild Lights” art installation from Barcelona’s Domestic Data Streamers, which uses real-time data to combine information science and eye-catching design.

Learn about the art of creative play with CODAME Art + Tech, a non-profit that aims to inspire through experience.

Step right up to play a round of “Kings” with STEAM Carnival, an entertainment showcase that reimagines the classic carnival amusements.

Plus, explore "The Metamorphosis Project," an immersive kinetic sculpture where viewers align their physical symmetry to create an infinity of changing personas.

6:00-10:00 pm, Get crafty with the pros from SCRAP SF!

"Then & Now" Alice Eastwood Exhibit (Project Lab)
6:30-9:00 pm,  Re-create Alice Eastwood’s Mt. Tam Hike from 1920 and learn how the fierce Academy botanist, who laid the groundwork for our world-class scientific collection, collected specimens.

Food & Drink
A variety of food options are available at NightLife from 6-9:30 pm, including The Academy Cafe, The Terrace located in the West Garden, and The Academy Cafe Food Cart located in the front lobby.

Enjoy a different fresh seasonal "craft on draft" cocktail at each NightLife bar area designed by our resident mixologist Shane McKnight!

All bars accept cash and credit cards.
