Then be sure to check out our latest contest — the Green Your Classroom Challenge.

Audit your classroom to evaluate how “green” it is, and let your students work together to establish new environmentally-friendly practices for the classroom. Then, have the class produce a creative presentation to showcase their commitment — anything goes!

The winning class will:

• receive free tickets to attend the Earth Day San Francisco Giants game on Sunday, April 25, 2010, at AT&T Park;
• have the opportunity to participate in a home plate ceremony to showcase their green classroom;
• be featured on the HD Scoreboard; and
• meet an Academy scientist!
