The California Academy of Sciences invites families to grab their costumes and have a ghostly good time while trick-or-treating through the Academy at night among spooktacular animals and spine-tingling specimens at SuperNatural Halloween 2012.

  • Trick-or-treat in a fun, educational and safe environment
  • Party with larger-than-life stiltwalkers and roaming magicians
  • Transform into your favorite Academy creature with fanciful face painting
  • BOOgie to the tunes of the Crunchy Frog Band and enjoy live animal shows
  • See a giant pumpkin carving demonstration and A Haunted Tour of the Night Sky in the Planetarium
  • Participate in ghoulishly good hands-on fun, craft booths, and family-friendly activities for all ages
  • Capture the night with photoBOOth snapshots
  • Complimentary beverages for adults and children
  • Come in costume and get a free trick-or-treat bag!
  • Academy CafĂ© will be open for dinner, snacks, and drinks
  • Proceeds support Academy programs including field trips for 130,000 students annually
