I went to see the penguins today after many months of watching on the webcams. I got some good pics. I love the little guys. I want to know more about the penguins. I want to know all about them! Let me know if you need any help, Pam and crew!

Patrice: She usually cleans the exhibit after the morning feeding (hosing down the rocks and mesh lining). I’ve seen her scoop stuff from the water once. It was fun to see the penguins swimming all around her and even biting the net stick! They’re so cute and playful!

What I want to know is who is that penguin that follows her around all the time. So cute!

These are african penguins, so no, I don’t think that they ever experience ice, and thy are fed twice a day, 10:30, and 3:30 from a bucket of fish!

I agree with Mary, I’d love to hear the sounds of the penguins (they were called jackass penguins because of their sounds). I would also like to hear what Pam and others say when they answer questions from the “audience”. Thank you. I love watching them being fed!!

Questions for Pam:
1. Who’s the adult penguin that keeps peeping at Pam’s Webcam?
2. Do they have any form of entertainment/stimulation aside from the human visits?
3. Any plans for adding audio to the webcam? I’d love to hear what’s being said!

i was at opening day and was surprised how attentive they were to the crowd. are they generally friendly?

have been watching the cams daily and have been looking for pierre,
does he still wear his custom wetsuit?

I leave your cams running in the background of my computer all day. It’s beautiful and educational and just plain fun. I’ve seen the tank get it’s daily cleansing (I love that your wetsuit looks like a big penguin!) Please tell me how and when and how often the penguins feed. Do they ever experience ice?
