Hatched at Tautphaus Park Zoo on 11 May 2007, he came to the Academy when he was 5 months old. “Dyer” has established himself in the very middle of the exhibit. The middle of the exhibit is common ground, but “Dyer” has turned it into the Penguin Mosh Pit. He controls other penguins in their ability to move back and forth in the exhibit. By pecking penguins as they walk by “Dyer” has started fights and is often slapping beaks with other penguins. “Dyer” is usually only tolerant of his sister “Adasha”, together they rule penguin common ground.-Pamela Schaller
