Our Love Shack is a temporary home for two penguins to spend some time getting to know each other and hopefully to form a long term commitment  as a mated pair. The B-52′s song “Love Shack” is a great summary of “Ocio’s” and Safara’s” temporary home.  Their lyrics describe what we are hoping to see…”Love baby, that’s where it’s at,  Huggin’ and a kissin’, dancin’ and a lovin’ at the love shack”. They are following each other around more frequently and watching each other.  This is a small step towards the direction of penguin love. The next few weeks will let us know if they find each other appealing enough to form a bond. -Pamela Schaller
