MindShift publishes a downloadable PDF on using digital games for learning

The MindShift Guide to Digital Games and Learning is a downloadable PDF that brings together relevant highlights from a series of blog posts written by Jordan Shapiro, with the goal of answering the key questions the educators, parents and learners have around using digital games for learning.

The Guide includes chapters discussing research on screen time, how to start using games for learning, choosing learning games, and classroom implementation.

Shapiro's reporting on digital learning for MindShift is supported by the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and the Games and Learning Publishing Council. MindShift is a blog launched by KQED and NPR to explore the future of learning, including but not limited to cultural and technology trends, education innovations, research, and policy.
