What: Bay Area Climate Literacy Impact Collaborative (BayCLIC) workshop: Deep Dive into Ocean Acidification, part of the Local Climate & Education Series

Where: General's Residence at Fort Mason in San Francisco

When: Thursday, September 21st from 1:00-4:30 pm

The topic of this workshop is ocean acidification, because it is an issue with not only global significance but one we can feel and observe locally. During the seminar, there will have fun, interactive climate science demonstrations, flash talks from both scientists and educators communicating on local science, free local climate resources, and much more.

 

About BayCLIC

BayCLIC is a consortium for environmental institutions dedicated to improving climate education and action in our region. This group is comprised of parks, museums, aquariums, and informal educators that are all volunteering their time towards this important mission. One of BayCLIC’s main initiatives is to bridge together the science and educator communities to ensure that Bay Area audiences receive climate change messaging that is locally relevant, accurate, and compelling.
