Hello and welcome to the new Project Lab blog! Since our opening in 2008 many of you may have already had a chance to visit our exhibits but have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes? What about those scientists in white lab coats? Who are they and what do they do? What is the Project Lab?
Having our on-view Project Lab lets you get a glimpse into the research that informs the exhibits that you see on the Academy’s public floor. We have Academy staff actively using our Project Lab and we also have many visiting researchers who choose to use our collections for their own research. The aim of this blog is to introduce the hard-working people who have jobs most people have never heard of or thought existed!
