I've been working more fabric into the sketchbook for texture, new color, and to maintain the project's use of found material. It also works to reference the ubiquity of flags (and shreds thereof) in Antarctica. The shapes here allude to the discovery of many new sea life species each year. There are more discoveries to come as 99% of the Antarctic seafloor remains to be explored.
