Member Preview: Giants of Land and Sea

Life at the edge of land and sea is dynamic and ever-changing—where fog rolls in, tectonic plates shift, and rocky coastlines trace the majestic outline of our state's rich natural history. In Giants of Land and Sea, the Academy's major new exhibit, discover the giant forces that make Northern California like nowhere else in the world.

Member Preview highlights:

  • Step inside the immersive Fog Room

  • Feel a jolt inside our newly refurbished "Shake House" earthquake simulator

  • Ascend through an ancient coast redwood interactive experience

  • Enter a raffle to win a mystery prize from the Academy Store!
