Experience the majesty of a 3,000-pound carved orca totem from the House of Tears Carvers of the Lummi Nation. Join us as we learn more about critically endangered Qw’e lh’ol mechen—the Lummi word for killer whale—and their fraught journey from the Pacific Northwest through California coastal waters. Lay hands on the totem during a special day of speakers, performances, a totem blessing, and conservation awareness.
