Rainforest Kit Training (Grades 4 - 8)

Prepare to lead your students on an exploration of tropical rainforests, one of the most fascinating ecosystems on the planet. The Rainforest Kit includes a variety of hands-on activities to bring the rainforest to life in your classroom, targeted at grades 4 - 8. Explore the California Academy of Sciences Osher Rainforest dome and discover ways to connect this unique exhibit with your curriculum.
In this workshop, you will explore the tropical rainforest ecosystem and get prepared to use the Rainforest Kit with your students. This kit explores rainforest plants and animals, the water cycle, and more, all at a level appropriate for 4 - 8 students. You will also visit the California Academy of Sciences Osher Rainforest dome and discover ways to connect this unique exhibit with your curriculum.

The Academy can provide documentation for the number of professional development hours you participate in. However, we do not offer continuing education credits at this time.
