The California Academy of Sciences Library supports its program by licensing still images from it’s collections.
To license an image please gather the following information:
- What the use will be (see fee schedule)
- What kind of organization you are representing (non-profit/personal or commercial)
- What images you would like to license.
- If you found these images on CalPhotos please provide the 16 digit ID number,
- If you have an Academy image number, please provide that
- Attach photo(s) if possible
Once you have the information please email your request to lcas@calacademy.org (attaching at photos if necessary).
After we receive your request it will take us 2-4 weeks to process the request.
