SPNHC and the Local Organizing Committee have made every effort to keep conference costs down. Generous sponsors, in-kind donations and good old-fashioned scrimping and saving are some of the ways in which we reduce expenditures. Nevertheless, the actual cost of holding an international conference of this size exceeds the combined funds generated by attendee registration and other income. Adding a virtual component greatly increases the costs as well. Please keep in mind that the average amount paid by attendees is approximately one third of the real cost of the event.
