Using the resources of the Koret-Taube Education Center, the Academy offers a wide range of professional development options designed to enhance your understanding of key science concepts, and help you better integrate hands-on science activities into your classroom.


NEW! Astronomy Workshops (3-8)
Get your students prepared for the school group show with a suite of simple activities related to the composition and scope of our solar system.

NEW! Lab Skills Workshops (3-8)
Does your laboratory equipment languish unused in the cupboard? Join us for introductory investigations using easily-accessible materials and basic tools of science.

Kit-based Teacher Workshops (K-12)
These popular workshops qualify educators to borrow Classroom Kits, prepackaged containers filled with lesson plans and materials that can accommodate up to 35 students.

Exhibit-focused Workshops (K-12)
Plan a successful field trip by experiencing companion exhibits in depth, and try out grade-appropriate activities for both your classroom and your museum visit.

Sustainability Workshops (2-8)
