Academy Update Thursday NightLife: 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm Capacity limited, reservations required

Explore what Academy researchers are doing behind the scenes and out in the field in this live planetarium show. Academy scientist, Avery Hill, will introduce you to one of our new strategic initiatives, Thriving California, and will share how the trees of California’s Sierra Nevada mountains can teach us about climate change vulnerability and resilience.

PLANETARIUM PASSES

  • Planetarium passes are required for the 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 pm shows.
  • Passes are $5 each and may be purchased online or at the ticket window. Since shows do sell out, we always recommend buying in advance.
  • Please arrive at the planetarium 15 minutes before your ticketed showtime for seating. We run a tight spaceship!
