Groups of 10 or more must purchase timed admission tickets in advance. Please note that not all entry times may be available on the date of your choice.

Although seats for every planetarium show are available free to visitors on a first-come, first-served basis, groups may reserve show tickets in advance for an additional fee of $5 per person. Email groupsales@calacademy.org or call 415-379-8000 from 8 am-5 pm daily to reserve planetarium seats for your group.
Please note that children 3 and under are not permitted in planetarium shows. Reservations available for daytime planetarium shows only.
Make lunch easy at the Academy with a prepaid boxed lunch or Academy Gift Card! Gift Cards can be used at the Café and Terrace restaurants and are perfect for trip planners on tight schedules. Boxed lunches are handcrafted at the Café with locally sourced ingredients.
We require a minimum of 10 box lunches per order. Please allow at least seven business days for processing.
Groups of 10 or more seniors (age 65+) can enjoy an exclusive admission package at the Academy. The package includes a discounted Daytime Admission rate with lunch or reserved planetarium seating. Please allow nine business days for processing.
