Four Steps to a Greener Holiday Tree

San Francisco residents can adopt a tree to have a greener season!

We produced this video several years ago about the great program that Friends of the Urban Forest and the San Francisco Department of the Environment offer as an alternative to trees from the lot.

The video is tongue and cheek, but the program is not. San Francisco residents can pick up a tree now through December 16, care for it over the holidays, and return it in the new year. The trees and donations go to a good cause!
