DJ SEP is the founder, promoter, and main resident DJ at Dub Mission.

Celebrating its 18th year and recently voted “Best Reggae Club” by SF Bay Guardian readers, Dub Mission is one of the longest-running dub & reggae parties in the world.

Presenting cutting-edge dub, roots reggae and dancehall every Sunday at Elbo Room San Francisco, Dub Mission has featured artists from all over the world.

For 22 years, Sep was also on Bay Area radio: first at college radio station KUSF (University of San Francisco) and later at Berkeley's public radio station, KPFA, where her eclectic electronic mix program "Off the Beaten Path" aired from 1994 to 2010.

In 2003, she and journalist/DJ Ron Nachmann aka Shockman realized and compiled Babylon Is Ours: The USA in Dub, a compilation of all-exclusive American dub tracks released by Germanys Select Cuts Records. In 2009, her remixes (with Jason Short) of "Get Your Dub Wet" featuring Juakali and Mista Chatman were released on Mochipet’s Daly City Records.

DJ Sep has been nominated for an SF Weekly Music Award (best DJ) and has spun at venues and clubs in London, New York, Washington DC, L.A., Miami, San Diego, and throughout the Bay Area.

She has performed with for a wide array of international artists, including Sly & Robbie, The Wailers, Culture, Big Youth, Les Nubians, Rachid Taha, Kinky, and The Cinematic Orchestra.
