Summer Member Night: Giants of Land and Sea

Join us for a summer’s night out at the museum just for members! Check out the Academy’s latest major exhibit, Giants of Land and Sea, and discover the giant forces that make Northern California like nowhere else in the world. Members of all ages can enjoy performances, mingle with scientists, and partake in fun, educational activities.
Experience Giants of Land and Sea:
- Feel your way through an immersive fog room
- Keep your balance in an earthquake simulator
- Virtually ascend to the top of a towering redwood

Parking Information
Due to other popular events occurring in Golden Gate Park, we highly recommend using public transit to visit the Academy. If you do drive, please note that JFK Dr. will be closed from Kezar Dr. to 8th Ave. on Wednesday, June 20. The Music Concourse Garage will be open until 11 pm on the 20th. Vehicles may enter at Fulton St. and 10th Ave. or at Lincoln and MLK Dr. near the Academy of Sciences. The cost is $5/hour or a $17 flat fee for cars entering after 6 pm.
