In response to the latest guidelines and information from local and state public health authorities around the evolving COVID-19 situation, the California Academy of Sciences is temporarily closed and this year’s Big Bang: Party After Dark event on April 23 has been canceled.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause, but the well-being of our Academy community will remain our most important priority during this uncertain time.
Big Bang: Party After Dark is our biggest fundraising event of the year—an inspiring night when the museum comes to life as we raise critical funds to support our world-class scientific research and environmental education programs. In these unprecedented times, the Academy’s mission to explore, explain, and sustain life is more important than ever. For those who are able, we hope you’ll consider contributing the price of your Party After Dark ticket as a donation to the Academy in support of our work.
Our ticket refund deadline of March 31 has passed, and all tickets have been converted to donations to support the California Academy of Sciences. Thank you so much for your generosity.
